Welcome to my violin school! My aim is to provide the highest quality violin instruction in a fun, energetic and welcoming environment.
I have a genuine desire to tailor a programme for each individual student’s needs and to formulate what works best for them.
My name is Margaret Louise Blades and I am enjoying an interesting and varied career as a professional violinist, and wish to share my knowledge and experience with my students.

Every student is unique and I tailor a programme to suit the temperament and skills of each. For beginners I endorse the Colourstrings philosophy. It enables technical skills, a trained ear, a deep intellectual understanding, as well as outstanding expressional skills - all combined together.
